About the author
Yuri Pasholok - known and popular historical consultant. For a long time worked as a staff officer of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War, participated in the restoration of the tanks in the «Military Historical Museum of armored vehicles» (Kubinka). Regularly printed in many thematic publications, is co-author of the monograph «Panzerkampfwagen Maus: design and production" as well as other works.
The book tells the story of the creation of a light tank T-60, called by the soldiers "Malutka", and machines based on it. T-60 - is improvisation by domestic engineers. Machine that has an important goal - make up for a catastrophic shortage of armored vehicles, which the Red Army experienced in 1941. Tanks T-60 was main force of fighting in the winter in December 1941 - February 1942.
